PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Unilock's ‘.Signature’ is a fully relocatable 86mm thickness, modular bi-block partition system, intended for commercial use. It is available in a variety of solid panel elevations, materials and finishes, with a number of alternative doorframe configurations; plus a selection of glazing profiles, all fully interchangeable.
Designed for fast track site installation, the system consists of pre-assembled modular elements, offering the specifier the highest level of aesthetic detailing together with optimum levels of acoustic and fire performance. Tile modular elements are retained between ceiling and floor tracks incorporating a horizontal levelling facility. The system incorporates a suite of abutment and trim profiles to enable installation within standard building tolerances without cutting or scribing the modular elements.
Unilock's Signature’ features the precise detailing and construction tolerances of a factory assembled system and is ideal for use in areas subject to high churn rates where relocatability is an important factor.
FIRE RESISTANCE OF SYSTEM
The system has been designed and tested to achieve half hour fire resistance for all major elements.
Insert, for example:
• Solid steel full height FR30 panels : half hour to BS476 Part 22.
• Double glazed full height panels, fitted with ‘Pyrocet’ FR glass 6mm to unexposed face : half hour to BS476 Part 22.
• Full height classic radiused doorframe with ‘Halspan’ cored fire rated doorleaf : half hour to BS476 Part 22.

SOUND INSULATION
The system has been tested for acoustic performance to the procedures of ISO 140/150717.

PARTITION DIMENSIONS
Solid modules, glazed and tiled modules and doorframes have a maximum floor to ceiling height capability of 3000mm. Minimum module 300mm, maximum module 1200mm for solid, 1500mm for glazed, 1000mm for single doors, 1800mm for double doors. System thickness 86mm overall.

DEFLECTION ALLOWANCE
The system allows for +/- 7.5mm from nominal ceiling horizontal for run-out.

JUNCTIONS/CORNERS
The system modules are locked together at junctions by means of a patented concealed ‘J’ Connector key. Inset between the panels is a friction fitted flush PVC insert strip of nominal 10mm width.

• Panels locked together by ‘J’ Connector key covered by 10mm PVC flush insert strip. Extruded aluminum corners are available in radiused or square profiles, to match the panel height.

FIXINGS AT ABUTMENTS
Fixings are typically plastic expansion plugs and steel screws into building fabric. Alternatively, double sided adhesive tape is used for a non-mechanical fixing. Specify under this clause.

SOLID PANELS FINISH/COLOUR
Solid panels are available with a variety of finishes : polyester powder coated steel to a minimum 50 microns, to a range of standard colours, laminate and veneered boards and fabric wrapped boards. Tile finish of the panels should be specified under this clause.

GLAZED PANELS
Glazed panels are available with a number of alternative frame profiles : Classic Radius, flush or framed Aerofoil and flush or framed Square. BLINDS
Are available in the system for full height glazed classic radius.

• Glazed modules of classic radius profile to incorporate 25mm venetian blinds, blind control cable and actuator knob. Define colour of blinds under this clause.

DOORSETS
Doorsets are available with a number of alternative frame profiles : Classic Radius, Aerofoil and Square, housing 44/54mm solid and 10/12mm glass doorleaves. Tile profile of the doorframe and the proposed doorleaf should be specified under this clause. All doorframe modules are interchangeable with solid and glazed modules.

CABLE MANAGEMENT/OUTLETS
The system is capable of including cutouts for switch boxes and socket outlets formed in the solid panels, or incorporated into a service pilaster of 100mm adjacent to a doorframe or panel. Tile requirements for electrical/service outlets should be specified under this clause.
