GENERAL

The partition system shall be Unilock ‘Elegance Vetro ’ glazed partition system, incorporating doorframes, head and base tracks, glass infil panels and dry PVC glass to glass jointing profiles. The system shall comprise factory finished aluminium profiles housing single or double glazed panels of glass retained by Silicone-free dry PVC glazing gaskets.

PERFORMANCE
The system shall be capable of providing acoustic attenuation under ISO140/ISO717 test and rating procedures.

DIMENSIONS

The system shall have a nominal thickness across the glazing profiles of 86mm for both single and double glazed configurations.

The system shall have modular glazed dimensions of up to 1200mm (ceiling height up to 3000mm) and 1500mm (ceiling height up to 2700mm). The system shall accommodate floor to ceiling dimensions up to 3000mm.

Head detail: shall be an extruded profile cloaking the edge of the glass, 28mm deep for both single and double glazed variants. The profile shall have acoustic foam strips to seal against the soffit.

Panel to panel junctions: the junction between glazed panels shall be formed either by a clear PVC glass to glass dry-joint profile (for single glazing) or by means of a clear PVC snap on trim to an internal 28/38mm aluminium mullion (for double glazing).

Corners: shall be formed by extruded aluminium profiles of radiused or square profile running from floor to ceiling.

Base detail: shall be an extruded profiled cloaking the edge of the glass, 28mm deep for both single and double glazed variants.

Finish: all profiles shall be polyester powder coated to a minimum of 50 microns thickness from manufacturers standard colour range.

Glass panels: shall be site glazed profiles assembled to form perimeter framing, with vertical mullions for double glazed construction. The glass shall be retained by PVC crystal extruded dry gaskets and vertical PVC glass to glass jointing profiles.

Blinds: the system shall be capable of accepting blinds in double glazed construction, complete with central cable and knob adjustment at mullion.

Doorframes: shall be manufactured in aluminium extrusions to various profiles : Classic radius, Aerofoil and Square. Frames shall be pre-prepared for hinges (Royde and Tucker hi-load) and strike box (Union 2277 or similar). Doorframes shall be capable of accepting 44mm/54mm solid doorleaves or 10/12mm glass leaves.
